The 60th National Sängerfest is upon us, and I am sure that you have all learned the songs for the Saturday concert. The Southern District has been busy finalizing all the details for us and we "THANK" them for all their efforts.  I am looking forward to seeing you there with smiling faces.  It will be a wonderful time for us all.

Our choirs are also preparing for your spring concerts, and I want to wish them great success.   The sound of many voices singing our beloved German songs is always a wonderful experience.  

Just a few reminders to you.  Please don't forget about our NASB Foundation.  Donations are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated.  Our next Leadership Workshop will be hosted by the Germania Choir on July 17-18, 2010.  Please send your club president or representative to attend.  It is a very informative weekend and can be of benefit to us all.  

Information for the next Music Directors Forum should be forthcoming soon as well. 

I want to thank all the members of the forum for selecting such a challenging array of music to be performed at the 60th Sängerfest.

Thank you to all my Sisters and Brothers in Song for being a very important part of our choirs and participating in all the concerts and other functions.  We have to continue to work hard to keep this German Tradition of Choral Singing alive and well in teh USA. 

Keep a Song in you Heart and a Smile on your Face.
